Prepare Computer Form

These documents are used in Preparing a Computer for use in the program. It provides a record of the computer's parts, step-by-step instructions, and at what point you are in buidling the computer. Guide on making bootable Disks

Information you'll need to create a bootable diskette for Windows 9x. (Note, bootable disks for 2000, Xp and ME are not possible)

 

bootspecial.zip (565 kb)

Zipped file that contains the 38 files I have put together to provide drivers for several CDroms and to use the Step1, Step2 . . . process for loading Windows 98 or Windows 95 (step95). You will need to have WinZip installed to unzip these files. Copy these files to your disk AFTER making it bootable using the process above.

 
Compaq Setup guide for 2000 and 4000

This document is oriented around the fact that most all electronic failure is due to surges and spikes in the electrical system it is connected to. It contains statistics and solutions for surge protection.
